Gunsmith cats manga review. Fans will be delighted to see Rally May Becky and most of the other regulars of Gunsmith Cats. Gunsmith Cats is about the exploits of the owner of a Gun shop in Chicago. It originally ran from February 1991 to June 1997 with a sequel series titled Gunsmith Cats BURST closing the story out between September 2004 and October 2008.

One day Bill Collins an agent for the Chicago branch of the Bureau of Alcohol Tobacco Firearms and Explosives blackmails Rally. While the story isnt anything particularly amazing the action is constant and I had no trouble reading a few hundred pages at a time. So the original manga was written and illustrated by Kenichi Sonoda.

The story centers on two young women 19-year old Irene Rally Vincent and her partner 17-year old Minnie May Hopkins. Simplistic yet attractive characters set against highly detailed backdrops with clean shading and lots of speed lines. New characters are introduced often enough to keep things interesting but infrequently enough that I could actually keep track of them.

So too the Kickstarter campaign that funded a re-issue a few years back now I love so much about this series but Im torn when it comes to rating Gunsmith Cats. Rally also works as a bounty hunter assisted by May which is the impetus. Her partner Minnie May Hopkins takes a liking to bombs.
